  • Calves with 1% Polygain included in their diet were over 6% larger at the end of a 38-day trial

Trial Design

Twenty-four calves of similar age and weight were split into two groups for a 38-day trial period. The base diet was a medicated calf starter muesli. Calves in one group were supplemented with an additional 1% Polygain.

Results

The final weight of the Polygain group was over 6% larger than the control group. This difference in final weight was statistically significant.
