As part of regular monitoring on working Australian dairy farms, Polygain was included as an intervention option when milk production rapidly reduced. In many examples, after adding Polygain to the diet, milk production returned to prior levels.
Up to 3x growth at a commercial dairy-beef operation
A commercial trial on a dairy farm using 160 male dairy calves assessed calf health and growth benefits. Those fed an initial and daily ration of Polygain achieved 3x average daily gain versus control calves.
Additional Calf Growth On Working Dairy Farm
Calves with 1% Polygain included in their diet were over 6% larger at the end of a 38-day trial.
