Polygain™ Boosts Lamb Growth and Slashes Methane Emissions

Lambs fed a diet supplemented with Australian-grown sugarcane-derived polyphenols (Polygain™) grew up to an extra 130 grams per day and produced half the methane of lambs fed a standard diet. The study was conducted by researchers at the University of Melbourne. It was presented at the 2022 Nutrition Society Of Australia Conference, with the abstract published in Proceedings of the Nutrition Society.
