Polygain reduces methane-producing microbes in spelling horses

The relative abundance of methane-producing bacteria was over 60% lower after adding Polygain to the diet. The methane-producing bacteria abundance returned to prior levels after Polygain supplementation stopped. Species of gut bacteria included those associated with increased production of short-chain fatty acids.
