A published university-supervised trial was conducted on a commercial dairy farm in Gippsland, Australia. Tracked 31 cows before and after supplementation with Polygain. Results included: Methane reduced by 35%; Milk production increased by 2L (+8%) ; Somatic Cell Count halved

As part of regular monitoring on working Australian dairy farms, Polygain was included as an intervention option when milk production rapidly reduced. In many examples, after adding Polygain to the diet, milk production returned to prior levels.

A commercial trial on a dairy farm using 160 male dairy calves assessed calf health and growth benefits. Those fed an initial and daily ration of Polygain achieved 3x average daily gain versus control calves.

Polygain has the potential to reduce antibiotics in poultry production; as demonstrated by a recent trial involving over 500 broiler chickens, the feed conversion salinomycin and Polygain doses over 0.25% were similar.

An Atlantic salmon trial was conducted at Deakin University. Additional weight gain and improved FCR was indicated in both salt and freshwater.

The relative abundance of methane-producing bacteria was over 60% lower after adding Polygain to the diet. The methane-producing bacteria abundance returned to prior levels after Polygain supplementation stopped. Species of gut bacteria included those associated with increased production of short-chain fatty acids.
